Can slats be cut to meet specific height needs?
Yes, all privacy inserts can be cut. On PDS slats make sure to cut the top of the slats and not the bottom, where the locking strip is located.
Can you use these slats in chain link that is wider than 2” opening?
The slats are made specifically to fit in 2” mesh. Inserting them in any other size will not work correctly and may cause them to fall out or slide out of place.
How durable are the inserts?
PDS products are resistant to : Severe weather conditions, salt water, sand, road dirt, most acids, alcohol, alkaline, ammonia, and common environmental pollutants.
What type of warranty comes with the slats?
PDS Fence Products carry a 25-year, pro-rata warranty against breakage under normal conditions. The Hedgelink product has a 10 year, pro-rata warranty.
How long does it take from the time the order is placed to receive the material?
Most styles typically take between 2 and 3 weeks to receive. Non-stock, or special orders can take up to 4 weeks in production and then 3-5 days in transit, depending on your location. You will be emailed an estimated shipment date once your order enters production.
