I bought my fence at the fence center and put in an ornamental alumimum fence. Let me tell you, I live on a rock, so drilling the post holes was a real chore. (Thankfully, the post hole digger was a rental.) The job came out beautifully and we get tons of compliments. Thanks for the fence and all the great advice that came with it. Let me first say that everything you see in the photos we built. I am a home designer and my husband is a pilot. We both have a great love for designing and building things ourselves. We started the construction of our pool project in May 2004 with the 9 foot high curviliniar siesmic retaining wall. We spent the better part of the summer and late fall completing the project, culminating with the installation of the fence. We really didn't want a fence, but Building Code made it mandatory and therefore we had to find a fence that best suited the site. Our fence had to be both decorative to enhance the style our custom home as well as unobtrusive to the beautiful view of the surrounding woods and the Hudson River Valley which we enjoy from our pool deck. We chose to keep it simple with the Gaurdian Areo Elba style in bronze. As you can see from the photos it blends beautifully with the surrounding landscape, doesn't compete with the style of our home and yet all on its own is a masterwork of quality and beauty. I am retired and live in the middle of the Mojave Desert. I wanted to inclose my front yard for my little Dachshund to play in. I have never built a chain link fence before so I look at a lot of others around. I have a mig welder so I dicided to give it a try. I put a 3' fence across the front witch is to the south. I welded up a roll gate and a walk through gate. The posts, walk through gate, and the track rails for the roll gate are all level but the top rail follows the grade of the street. I don't know if that is how you are suppose to do it but it works and I am happy with it. I used an Apollo gate opener on the roll gate. The wind always comes from the west so I made that side 4' high and put slats in it. Matthew Scanlon Ridge Crest, CA
Six stall dog kennels for our bear hounds. The kennel runs are 4X8 X 6 Ft. high under a 12 X 48 addition on our garage. The kennels insided the building are 4X4X 6 ft. that house the dogs very comfortably. Charles Cable Athelstane, WI

My Mother has a house close to Lewis Delaware sitting on a one acre lot. I decided to fence in the back half acre so when I came to see my mother I could let my dogs run free. So you guys shipped the fence and components to Delaware and I met the truck on Monday to off load the fencing. Started installing the gate post that afternoon, then on Tuesday I set all the post around the yard and strung the fencing. By Tuesday afternoon I was able to allow my dogs to run free in the back yard. I will admit that I has a lot more work to make the job complete, like stretching and tying the fence up but I had it all down by Thursday evening. This is a picture showing the back yard that we wanted to fence in for our dogs and still keep the open view of the woods. The bronze color of the fence is perfect for the wooded perimeter.
We needed a fence that complied with the state and national requirements for safety, and after receiving quotes from a number of fence installers, we decided to install one ourselves. After looking at a number of fencing products, we decided to purchase the Delgard Doria Aero Guardian Aluminum fence from the Fence Center; this fence exceeded the codes for safety, was stronger than competitive products, and with us providing the labor came in at a cost of less than half of the quotes from the fencing companies. We have never installed a fence before, but with the directions, and help from the Fence Center's toll-free help line, it was easy to install. It looks great, and enhances the value of our property. We have just purchase a new home in a new community and we immediately began our pool project. Although our neighbors like the pool, we have had more complements on the fence. Even the builder of our home thought it was a "classic" finish to the house.
